3.16.20 Daily School Update

Good afternoon St. Joseph’s Community,

Today, we prayed together as a faculty and discussed our path moving forward. We met in grade level teams K-2, 3-5, and 6-8. We are finalizing our distance learning plan moving forward. Our goal on Thursday and Friday is to have all of our students dip their toes in distance learning; grade level teachers will be sending out a communication on what exactly that will be. By the end of this week, our goal is to have one week of digital content ready in case we need to be out of school the week of March 30th – April 3rd.

We also had many families come in and pick up materials/textbooks – it was great to see the kids. Tomorrow, materials/textbook pick up is from 10:00 – 3:30.

I have been asked how long school will be closed – I really don’t have a definitive answer as the we will have to see how the situation evolves.

Please take care of yourselves – “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1
