3.24.20 St. Joseph’s School Update

Dear St. Joseph’s Community,

I wanted to inform our St. Joseph’s families that school will be closed through April 20th. This is in response to the Idaho State Board of Education and in cooperation with our Idaho Catholic Schools. We will continue to communicate with state officials and area Catholic Schools and will reassess as needed to determine if this closure needs to be extended.

While we are prepared for our first week of distance learning next week, we recognize that this time is challenging for families, students and faculty and staff. I will continue to pray for all of you. Tomorrow is the Feast of the Annunciation – Pope Francis is calling for all Christians to pray the Our Father tomorrow at Noon. Let’s have our community join with all around the world in prayer! Prayer is needed to sustain all of us during this time.

I will send out another communication of Friday, March 27th with more details surrounding our distance learning plan that will go into effect on Monday, March 30th.

Please let me know if you have any questions or need anything.

If you are interested, here is the full article from the Idaho State Board of Education:  https://boardofed.idaho.gov/resources/covid-19-school-operations-guidance/.

Thank you for your continued support of St. Joseph’s School – we will get through this together. May God grant us all Peace and Strength!

For Excellence in Catholic Education

Blessings,
