Catholic Schools Week is Jan. 28-Feb. 2

Catholic Schools Week is  Jan. 28 – Feb. 3, 2018
This year’s theme is Catholic Schools: Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed.

Philanthropic Cause:

Learning Lab – This group was selected by Student Council continuing our theme of St. Joseph. Student Council believes this local group models the care and teaching aspect of St. Joseph. The Learning Lab is a literacy education center for adults and families with young children. Classes are based on students’ individual needs and offer reading, writing, math and English language learning curricula.

We really want to involve the students this year. Instead of class competitions, we have a school goal of $1,000 ($2.50 per student).  We will collect various types of money each day. We encourage students if they do not have the money themselves to do work around the home to earn it. If we reach the $1,000 mark students will earn an extra Spirit Day. If we double our goal, and reach $2,000, we will have two more Chik-fil-a Mondays.
