Mrs. O’Brien earned a BA in Spanish from the University of Nevada, Reno while studying abroad in Spain and working as an au-pair. She has a MA in education from Pepperdine University; she has worked as both a classroom teacher and an interventionist in California, Alabama, and now Idaho.
