Exciting middle school events in November

On Friday, November 4, 2016, Jason Evert will speak to all Treasure Valley Catholic School 7th and 8th grade students.  Jason spoke at World Youth Day and is well-known as a Catholic speaker about the topic of chastity.  His presentation for 7th and 8th grade students is called “Love or Lust.”

I encourage all parents to go hear Jason Evert speak on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016 at 7 p.m. at Sacred Heart (Boise).  His topic for the night is “Parenting for Purity,” and it will give parents an opportunity to hear what their children will hear from Jason on Nov. 4.  Jason will also be presenting to Bishop Kelly High School students on Nov. 4, so many students in the Treasure Valley will get to hear his message.

On Friday, Nov. 18, 2016 all Treasure Valley Catholic School 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students will attend a junior high rally at Bishop Kelly High School.  The rally will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and students will have an opportunity to grow in their faith and experience the illusionist Danny Ray.  Parent chaperones will be required for this event, so please prayerfully consider attending.  For more information about Danny Ray go to: https://dannyray.tv/

More information and permission forms for these two events will be coming home soon.  They are great opportunities for your child to grow in faith and to interact with students from the other Treasure Valley Catholic Schools.  These events are two examples of how we encourage our students to grow in spirit, mind, and body.
