From Mark Garrison’s presentation: instead of technology = change, learning = change. I have learned so much over two days. How will that impact St. Joe’s School?
What will you start? I will start modeling technology tools for the faculty and for our larger community. I want to try to integrate Google Classroom as a way to communicate with the faculty and staff and potentially share information with other groups. I want to keep my blog updated. I want to continue to try new apps and tools and share with them faculty. I want to start having more conversations with the faculty about the 4 Cs: communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking. I want to continue to be a lifelong learner.
What will you stop? I will stop referring to technology as change: learning is change. I want to reduce anxiety surrounding technology. I want teachers to understand that exploration with technology is allowed, supported, encouraged, and most importantly can benefit student learning.
What will you share? I want to share passion and enthusiasm for teaching. I want to share Google Classroom, Texthelp Study Skills, Google Forms.
