Grandparents’ Mass

Every day, several grandparents fill the halls of St. Joseph’s Catholic School to pick up their grandchildren.  As a parent, I know I would not survive without my mother-in-law and my parents helping Tony and in the care and raising of our children.  The grandparents support our children at events, make us meals, and drive our children around.  The photo above is “Grandma Q” at Farmstead corn maze with JD and me.

Before Thanksgiving break, we want to celebrate all of the grandparents in our students’ lives.  On Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 8:30 a.m., we will have a special Grandparents’ Mass to honor grandparents for all that they do and who they are.  Children from all grade levels will be assisting with this special Mass.  After the Mass, grandparents may visit the classrooms of their grandchildren for light refreshments.

Please RSVP to your child’s classroom teacher, if a grandparent will be attending with your child.  This will help us know for how many special guests to plan.

Thank you for being involved grandparents.  Recognizing you (grandparents) before we go Thanksgiving is a special way to spend our time.
