Happy Thursday St. Joseph’s Families,

We are busy here at St. Joseph’s preparing for Holy Week as we conclude the Lenten season next week. As part of that preparations, we had Reconciliation for our 2nd-8th grade students on Monday. We had nine priests from the Diocese of Boise assist Fr. Mariusz with this very important Sacrament. Our 8th grade students have been practicing Living Stations of the Cross. They will lead our school through Stations of the Cross tomorrow afternoon and then host for St. John’s Parish at 5:30. Parents are invited to attend Stations of the Cross at 5:30. This is a very important tradition in our Catholic Schools

Reminder: students can wear uniform shorts – except on Mass day.

Open Enrollment is now available for St. Joseph’s Catholic School. We will be accepting enrollment applications from now through the summer. Please share the good things we are doing at St. Joseph’s with other families – word of mouth is the best way to attract families to our amazing school.

School Mass

It was so wonderful to have all students attending Mass this past week. On Tuesday, April 12th, Mrs. Schneider’s homeroom class will host Mass. Mass dress is required for all students and staff. Mass attendance is required. Parents are invited to join us at Mass.

As we continue to focus on our Catholicity at St. Joe’s, our 1st – 8th grade students attended Eucharistic Adoration today. I was able to go to Adoration with the 1st grade class. The students were amazing, very focused and prayerful as we adored the true presence of Christ in the Eucharist.

St. John’s Cathedral Parish

St. Joseph’s is the parish school of St. John’s Cathedral. We are in partnership with St. John’s, and we appreciate their ongoing support. Together, we can continue to fulfill our mission as a Catholic school. Please support St. John’s Parish or other Parish where you attend.
