Happy Thursday St. Joseph’s Families,

We are wrapping up our school year and have many fun activities planned for the last week of school! It is an exciting, busy time of the year!

Tomorrow, we have our middle school awards ceremony where we will recognize academic excellence, our school SLEs, the Humanitarian Award recipients, the St. Josephine Bakhita recipient, and National Junior Honor Society induction and recognition.

Our 8th grade students will graduate on Tuesday, May 24 at 1:30 – all middle school students will attend the ceremony.

We have classes going to the zoo, the Old Idaho Penitentiary, various parks in the city and the list goes on. Our students will have Mass on Thursday next week followed by class picnics and fun activities.

We have finished our Spring MAP testing this week for our 2nd-8th grade students. Student reports will be sent home with your child the week of May 23rd.

We need your support and testimony on the 8th Street Bikeway Project at the ACHD meeting on Wednesday, May 25th at 6:00 pm. Student safety must be our top priority. It seems like this project is being rushed and we want to make sure all safety aspects have been heard and considered for our students and parishioners. I will send an email on Monday with a link to submit comments and more detailed information.

Julie Perkins is our new bookkeeper at St. Joseph’s. If you have any questions about billing statements or tuition, Julie can be contacted at
