Principal’s News 11.14.19

Good afternoon St. Joseph’s Families,

Happy Thursday! We have had another great week at St. Joseph’s. I have been observing classes and seeing all the great things that happen in our school each day. Our dedicated and caring faculty and staff work hard each and every day doing God’s work helping children be the best they can be. We are so blessed to have such a caring community of teachers, parents, and students.

Our middle school students and teachers have been working hard this week serving the less fortunate. The Middle School Friendship Feast is this evening. Thank you to all who have helped support this important effort!

A big thank you to Annie and Brian Granvall for a successful St. Joseph’s Uncorked event!  It was a fun evening and a great way to support our school. Thank you to those who attended and volunteered.

Our Student of the Month focus for the month of November based on our School-Wide Learning Expectations is Academic ExcellenceSt. Joseph’s students give their best! They work hard to be responsible, joyful and creative in their studies. We will recognize our November students of the month after Mass on Tuesday, December 3rd

We have some upcoming events in November to mark on your calendars:

  • Middle School Friendship Feast on Thursday, November 14th. This is our 14th year of serving our parish and the homeless men, women and children in our community!
  • Student hosted Parish Mass on Saturday, November 16th at 5:00 PM at the Cathedral. Our 5th grade students and choir are in charge! One more way we can Share our Faith and partner with St. John’s Parish!
  • School Advisory Board Meeting on Wednesday, November 20th at 5:00 PM in the library.
  • Grandparent’s Mass on Tuesday, November 26th. This is a great way for our students to connect with grandparents and show their appreciation of family!

Thank you for your commitment to your child’s Catholic Education!
