Tomorrow we will be celebrating Mass at St. Mark’s with all of the Treasure Valley Catholic Schools. Bishop Peter Christensen will be the celebrant joined by the school priests. It is a great way to culminate the school week of Catholic Schools Week.
Please pray for our second grade students making their First Reconciliation Saturday.
2019-2020 Re-Enrollment for St. Joseph’s
Tomorrow afternoon, we will email out re-enrollment links. We are moving the registration process online in an effort to better serve all of you. The process will ask parents to verify information, provide/update medical information, technology agreement, photo permission, fees, and tuition.
We are so grateful and blessed to be near capacity with enrollment. We thank all of you for your word-of-mouth recommendations for new families who continue to enroll here at St. Joseph’s Catholic School.
We also want to thank our community. The past three years, families have seen increases in tuition from $300-$350 due to an effort to better retain and recruit quality staff. Many teachers were making much less than counterparts in the Boise School District. Three years later, we have made great progress with teacher pay.
For the 2019-2020 school year, tuition will increase $50 (Catholic $4,790 and non-Catholic $6,138). Fees will increase $75 ($50 for books and curriculum and $25 for technology). This is a total increase of $125 for the 2019-2020 school year.
As we begin to finish this school year, we will continue to plan and prepare to best serve your families next year too.
Dogs on Campus
With our warmer than typical winter weather, many have been tempted to bring their furry friends to school at release time. We want to remind everyone that if you bring your dog(s), to keep dogs outside of the school and out on the sidewalks (away from the main entrance). We have students and adults with allergies and fears of dogs, and we have dogs leaving messes inside and outside of the school. We appreciate your help with this.
