Mass

Thank you to Mrs. Weaver and Mr. Yanci’s class for their leadership with liturgy at Mass Tuesday.  This week Deacon O’Neill remind us all that God is always there for us.  We thank all of you who joined us for Mass.   Please know, all are welcome each week.

St. Joseph’s is hosting Mass at St. John’s this coming Sunday, February 24th at 5 pm.  This is to kick off the Hallissey week.

2019-2020 Re-Enrollment for St. Joseph’s

This year, re-enrollment is done online.  We have sent the links out to the primary contact’s email.  We have more than 300 students re-enrolled for 2019-2020 school year.  In order to know about openings for new families, re-enrollment is due Thursday, February 21.  Our open house for future and prospective families is Tuesday, February 26.  Open-enrollment for new families will also begin February 26. If you do not see a re-enrollment link in your email, please contact Mrs Granvall (granvalla@stjoes.com) right away, and we will send you another link.

Night Out with the Steelheads

We sold all of the tickets allocated to St. Joseph’s, and the Steelheads contacted us and have opened up more seating. Come one, come all if you are interested. Go to www.igrouptix.com/idahosteelheads user: Night password: Out

      • 32 earned a 3.71 GPA or higher
      • 43 earned a 3.0 GPA or higher
    • Graduating Class of 2019 (St. Joseph’s Class of 2015)

 

  • 30 students set to graduate

 

    • 19 have a cumulative weighted GPA of 4.02 or higher
    • 26 have a cumulative weighted GPA of 3.708 or higher
    • 28 have a cumulative weighted GPA of 3.152 or higher
    • (I will share the college choices of these students once final transcripts are sent to schools.)

Wake Up Wednesday with Mrs. Elwer

Get Up and Get Going in the Morning With Mrs. Elwer: We are off to a great start.  We have a number of students attending this and welcome all students for the future dates.  Mrs. Elwer is offering the chance for students to come into the gym and get moving and stretching on Late Start Wednesday from 7:45-8:15 in January and February.  This was popular last year.  All ages are welcome. Remaining Date: 2/27

Holy Spirit Basketball Tournament

The Holy Spirit Basketball Tournament is March 15-17 (This is the Friday leading into Spring Break.).

For those participating, forms are due back as soon as possible to get teams registered.

New Activation Method

To activate your account, please visit https://safestudentsonline.com/activate. Select our school from the dropdown list and type in the email address you have on file with our school (your SafeStudents Online account is linked to your email address). If you have any questions or trouble with the process, please reach out to customerservice@safestudentsonline.com.

This is for our families with students in grades 5-8.  The goal is to coach and provide students a safer and healthier online experience and provide open communication between parents and students.  All you need to do is sit down with your student(s) and take less than 5 minutes to set it up.
