St. Joseph’s Catholic School is looking ahead to a great 2017-18 school year! There are a couple changes to the staff for next year.
We have two retirements: Mary Ellen Violette (4th) and Carolynne Joy (5th). We are grateful for the many ways they have blessed St. Joseph’s Catholic School.
Mrs. Wiebold (4th) will begin the year on maternity leave, and Mrs. Joy will be teaching her 4th grade class to start the year. It will be great to have Mrs. Joy still teaching in the building. She knows our students and our community, and she is a great teacher.
Mr. Yanci will be teaching 5th grade full time next year alongside Mrs. Weaver. 5th grade students will spend half day with Mrs. Weaver and half day with Mr. Yanci.
I want to take a moment to welcome a new member to our staff for next school year. Kaylyn Schneider will be teaching 4th grade at St. Joseph’s Catholic School next year. Mrs. Schneider is currently teaching 4th grade at Garfield. Prior to that, Mrs. Schneider taught middle school for 6 years in Caldwell. She has a masters in curriculum and instruction. We are excited to welcome Mrs. Schneider to 4th grade at St. Joe’s.
We are blessed to have such a strong teaching staff that is committed to the mission of the school. We look forward to next year!
