Help Fund the Fun!

Every school needs a playground, an essential component of every child’s school experience. We are calling on our community to help us transform our paved play area into an exciting play and learning environment for our children.

St. Joseph’s School is in the advanced planning stages for a new multi-purpose playground and community recreation area on the school campus. We call it PLAYTOPIA! This amazing project is long overdue and will be a major benefit to the St. Joseph’s and St. John’s Cathedral communities!

Highlights of St. Joseph’s Playtopia will include:

  • Address campus safety through the correction of major precipitation drainage issues
  • Address foot traffic access to the campus during school hours
  • Provide green space and play spaces designed to encourage creativity, build strength and support social activities for students of all ages

We will need $500,000 to break ground June 1, 2020 in order to complete the project before the 2020-21 school year commences on August 17.

The St. Joseph’s Parents Association has pledged $100,000 to just start the fundraising process. In addition, we have $34,000 remaining from the 2018 & 2019 Campus Improvements Fund-a-Need Paddle Raises from the Crab Feed.

Any donation you make now will be used to help drive the momentum to fully fund this wonderful and worthwhile capital campaign.
